Am I right to burn separate game ISOs onto separate discs?

Ok first off, the ISOs in question are 3 ISO files, each from a different LEGIT copy i own of a game series called Pajama Sam (its the first 3 games too). I managed to rip the ISO files to my desktop, and then since its an AUTOLOAD game, meaning it pops up the play menu right away when you put it in, i put each iso onto a separate DVD-R. Am i CORRECT to do so? Or have i wasted 2 disks when i couldve put all 3 on one disc? I cant reverse it and its not expensive to buy more (i have plenty left) but i WOULD like to know. Thanks a lot. :D
