If the FDA knows that tobacco smoking is 100% harmful, why don't they just ban it all together?

Do you understand how many people work for tobacco companies? medicial care (which it creates a need for)? drug companies, reasearch companies, ad companies, packing companier, trucking? Put all those people out of work and they stop paying their rent, buying car, buying clothes, buying food. So the car lot salesman then can't pay his rent. And the guy that works at the car plant. And the guy that delivers the parts to the plant. Add to that, nicotine is a drug that calms people down. You want to take away their jobs and the drug that calms them? You do understand that the revolutions in the middle east are about lack of employment correct?
