Asbestos!?? do i remove it?

So im about to buy a house. The roof used to leak but the previous owner fixed it. He did not fix any water damage tho. So there are a few areas where there are holes in the drywall of the ceiling. I looked in there and saw asbestos insulation. I know it can be dangerous but if i close up the ceiling will i be safe from the asbestos?? or would i have to remove it all together?
