I am worried that there is asbestos in the college buildings where student sleep.?

If the rules are the same as in the USA, a College officer in a Environmental, Health, and Safety Office will have inspections of all the buildings and can tell you whether there is asbestos where you sleep. This is true for public colleges. Private colleges in the USA will be the same normally, except for the smallest ones. At this point in time, it is not likely that asbestos is present, but it can not be ruled out.
