asbestos doesn't cause symptoms like that. asbestos causes painful breathing after long-term exposure and can cause lung cancer. Keep in mind, to have noticeable symptoms you have to be breathing asbestos for months, minimum. A couple of minutes of exposure wouldn't cause these symptoms. Asbestos also doesn't feel like burning, it feels like a sharp pain every time your lungs move, and rarely causes (painful) coughing. "dusty" tasting flem might just be from the dust you inhaled that you thought was asbestos.
