Are there asbestos in the M15 Israeli military model gas mask?

I just bought an Israeli m15 military model gas mask that comes with a Nato filter. It hasn't shipped in yet, but i just heard about something called asbestos being in old gas masks. The mask and the filter have '83' written on them. Are there asbestos in the masks?
