If my popcorn ceiling is painted over, is it safe from any asbestos fibers that may have been part of it?

I live in an apartment and I have a high bunk bed that is around 3 1/2 feet away from the popcorn ceiling... The ceiling is painted over and I want to make sure if sleeping on my bunk bed is safe. I've been sleeping for over 2 years now.... Please help me! thank you
