What books should I read?

My favorites are Harry Potter by JK Rowling and Boys Don't Cry by Malorie Blackman. Some other books I like are The Boy In Striped Pyjamas by John Boyce and The Rachel Riley series by Joanna Nadin. Any suggestions? I don't really like supernatural stuff like vampires anymore, and I like real life situation book and fictional books about history. I'm nearly 14 by the way.
