What happens when Asbestos material molds? If you breathe it?

The apt I was living in had the acoustic "popcorn" ceilings, and it was tested and it has 5% asbestos. The people upstairs had a leak and it leaked down and make quite a large mold spot on the ceiling, I ended up breathing this stuff for months before leaving, and I have been sick with nausea, diarriah, and an inability to regulate my internal temperature ever since. Does anyone know what happens it asbestos molds? does it create something even more dangerous?
