Is it harmful for me to be working in a remodeled office that had asbestos tile? ?

I've been working in this office for about a week and they ripped up some old floring and I found a jug of the soy black mastic, asbestos abatement stuff. And one of the guys working there said they ripped up some vct tile black mastic. I believe this was a few months ago. What are the dangers if it was asbestos? Its at a construction company. And I think they would do that kind of remodel work themselves. I'm just worried asbestos dust particles left behind and if there is a danger.
